We're looking for a Head of Account Management - Japan to be responsible for leading all aspects of Mamenta's brand partner go-to-market strategies for the Japanese Market. Core responsibilities include managing partner relationships, developing and executing business plans, managing a team of eCommerce professionals, and leading special projects related to expanding the Mamenta's business model or increasing operational efficiencies.

What You'll Do

  • Directs Japan brand management team
  • Leads the development and implementation of brand-specific marketplace selling strategies
  • Manages day-to-day marketplace operations and execution
  • Serves as a marketplace expert with a deep knowledge of platform capabilities and business levers
  • Evaluates competitive landscape and develops strategies to maximize business growth
  • Leads all weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings with brand partners
  • Ensures the highest levels of operational execution
  • Partners with Operations team to ensure optimal in stock and inventory position
  • Partners with Advertising team to develop brand specific advertising strategies

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related program
  • Fluent in Japanese and English
  • 10+ years of experience leading .com or marketplace commercial efforts
  • 10+ years of experience managing a team of 5 or more associates, western-based company preferred
  • Strong analytical and data management skills
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • High ethical standards
