What You'll Do

Strategy and Brand Development

  • Interview key stakeholders to gain a clear understanding of the scope of business brands, categories, roles, competitors, objectives and strategies.
  • Lead development of eCommerce sales strategies for our stakeholders that drive business growth at customers within marketplaces such as Amazon, Walmart, eBay, Rakuten, Mercado Livre, and other global marketplaces.
  • Work with Operating Partners and Sales teams to create and execute on best in class launch strategies.
  • Lead and define the Joint Business Plans, assist in the development of KPI’s.
  • Become SME (Subject Matter Expert) and define best practices in emerging eCommerce landscapes.
  • Contribute in formulating & articulating key strategic offerings and positioning for client business.

Execution and Reporting

  • Develop influential relationships at key eCommerce channel partners.
  • Ensure flawless execution of roadmaps and plans, on behalf of the clients and stakeholders in the defined customers.
  • Compile and gather data for presentation and report development, lead the logical development of ecommerce insights.
  • Lead strategic and tactical evaluation of the plan elements, extract insight & recommend ongoing changes to maximize the impact and effectiveness of future plans and executions.

Research / Analysis

  • Perform industry research and analysis when entering new industries, channels, or adjacencies to advise clients and stakeholders of winning strategies.
  • Compile and gather information for presentation and report development.
  • Be fully versed in the latest tools and technology in the eCommerce space, including but not limited to algorithms, search, navigation, taxonomy, ratings and reviews.


Presentation and Report Development

  • Manage presentation and report development for all stakeholder strategic initiatives and/or corporate reporting requirements.
    • Develop pitch themes or other elements to deliver a compelling, cohesive, and memorable presentation.
    • Manage presentation flow and individual slide content to effectively convey offerings, key differentiators, and specific strategic proposals

    - Does not have direct reports, but may delegate work of others and provide guidance, direction and mentoring to indirect reports

    Minimum Qualifications:

    The following are the minimum job-related qualifications which an individual will need in order to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the job.

    • Education Level: (Required) Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
    • Field of Study/Area of Experience: Media, Marketing, E-commerce or equivalent job-related experience
    • 2-4 years of experience in a media or marketing capacity, department, and/or CPG company
    • Working knowledge of retailer vendor portals, retail ad platforms, supply side platforms, and campaign management technology, and/or data visualization tools is a plus.
